Cisco Health Robot shown off to Tony Blair

One normally sees BBC’s political correspondent Nick Robinson against a backdrop of the black door at 10 Downing Street. Last week, when I saw a quick glimpse of him doing a report from Silicon Valley, I was wondering why? It seems that Tony Blair has been rubbing shoulders with Cisco, Apple and Google; but especially with Cisco;

Mercury News reports on
the schoozing, and Blairs interaction with a robot that

".. allows doctors to consult with patients in remote areas through a
broadband wireless connection.

A quick google search on the obviously pre-marketing name of the imaginatively named "Health Robot" does not return anything specific relating to Cisco.

No doubt the PM checked if the microphone was
switched off
before passing any further comment…
